Our ‘Studio B’ room is available for dry-hire for those who want to self-produce or bring in their own engineer. Unlike other dry-hire studios, one of our producers will be just in the next room to make sure you have everything you need and that you are set-up correctly and comfortably. All you have to do is bring your laptop/computer – we’ll provide the rest!
In the case that you might need some help or you’d like access to another piece of equipment to help you to capture the perfect sound, we have installed an ‘assistance button’ to call one of our producers into your session.
Studio Forty Two Music have specifically set up our Studio B to cater to vocalists, voice actors and ADR work. With our sound isolation booth offering an extra reduction of 54.75dB, you will have peace and quiet with no distractions to focus on the task in hand. We pair this with our UA Mic Preamps which can offer anything from a vintage warm analog sound to a clean transparent modern sound which will ensure you capture the recording that is right for your project. You will also be equipped with the Universal Audio Console which offers a range of plugins for your vocal chain without affecting your computer’s internal CPU and you’ll also have access to outboard effects meaning you have a range of options to get more colour into your recording.
We also cater to your schedule; if you need a late-night voice-over session or some last minute lead vocal recording, just reach out to us via email or phone and we’ll set up your session.
We use both Universal Audio and alternative interfaces to ensure compatibility with all laptops and computers.
